Many people are feeling overwhelmed in this time of uncertainty, but when we turn to the body, breath, our voice and our innate creativity, we discover that we are all incredibly resourced.
As Voice Movement Therapy (VMT) practitioners, we want to share with you, and guide you in discovering your abundant capacity for expression, healing, resilience and inner peace. Our process moves you from feelings of anxiety and overwhelm to being able to rise up and stand steady in your voice and in yourself.
Program Offering
· 6-weeks, one 2hr session a week.
· 12 hrs contact time
· 5-8 hours self-study / self-explore (between sessions – optional)
· 18 personally meaningful exercises to grow with and continue to explore after the program.
· A list of useful resources and a reading list related to the program themes.
A little more information
You’ll Be OK is a VMT process that responds to our collective experience of feeling overwhelmed. VMT offers a safe framework to explore the myriad of voices within the psyche, helping us to explore our authentic experience. This process offers you practical, easy to learn techniques that will help you to find re-assurance and resilience. Each session includes breathing, voicework and movement. There will be time for self-reflection and sharing and invitations for further self-study.
There are 6 sessions, and you will leave each session with 3 clear steps to enhance your well-being and an invitation to integrate these into your self-care practice. At the end of the 6-week program you will have an embodied daily Voice Movement practice to continue your exploration and self-resourcing.
Session 1: You’re OK where you are.
Discovering the self in the present moment in the present place.
Session 2: Rising-falling-rising.
A lesson in resilience, learning how to stand up again… and again.
Session 3: Steadying the body.
We share ways of taking your body and voice from shaking to calm.
Session 4: Resonance: tuning in, tuning up.
Exploring how to bring vocal vibration into the numbness and how to fill empty physical and soul spaces.
Session 5: Giving Voice to the Self
Inviting our authentic voice to be more part of our experience of ourselves.
Session 6: Grounding in your Voice
Learn how connecting to and claiming our voice offers an experience of an inner home.
We’ve found that when we take time to reconnect with ourselves, and carve out space to listen and reflect; when we activate our imagination and find voice for that which is important to us, we can emerge in our wholeness and vitality, opening to endless possibilities.
