About Caroline Gill

Originally from the wilds of North East Scotland, Caroline moved to London with a band to make their fortune and ended up training as a Voice Movement Therapy Practitioner, qualifying in 2000. Since then it has been a privilege for her to work with hundreds of individuals and groups offering sessions in VMT voice production, singing, and creative improvisation. As a singer she draws on her own experiences and insights in finding her voice, to help others.

Her clients come for personal and for professional reasons. She offers them a safe, practical, sometimes provocative, always supportive space in which to explore vocal self-expression in response to individual needs.

Caroline Gill offers:

Individual Therapy – working with the VMT model and drawing on complementary methodologies.
Voice Coaching for Professionals – voice production, personal impact and communication skills, speech work, vocal health
Singing Lessons – a whole-person approach. Embodied voice production, singing practices, and creative development
Classes and workshops in:
– Improvisation and Expressive Voice Work
– Breathing, Toning and Tuning In
– Voice Production and Personal Impact
– Voice Day – a Yoga Teacher Training module

She is also a yoga teacher (senior teacher Yoga Alliance UK) and after almost 20 years of teaching students in Bristol and beyond, she is currently on a sabbatical – not offering any community classes at present. Private sessions are available. She is currently a student on the Professional Voice Studies MFA: Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
She is available for online sessions through skype or zoom.
