Anne Maarman is a Pastoral Counselor in Bethesda. Her VMT work focuses on helping stroke patients. Through singing and other VMT principles she helps patients to fight back and, through the long emotional process, helps them out of their coma to find themselves again.
Anne works alongside other therapists to provide safety to her clients by meeting them again; mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters. Part of her work as a professional is to assist people through the depression that comes with experiencing a stroke.
